baby's first haircut

Has your baby had his or her first haircut yet?

If your "baby" is older, how old was he or she when the first haircut happened? Who was the barber?

When my daughter was one year old, she had her first haircut.  I just had her bangs cut and we did it at home, as she hated for anybody (including us) to touch her hair.  I figured we could have the fight with her at home in the privacy of our own home.  And, boy was it a fight

In our own custom baby must have his/her first haircut when he/she reach one year old.  Becuase according to oldies it would not be nice to baby's health to cut the hair until he/she is not 1 year old.

We got my daughters hair cut when she was 1.  It is a little tradition around here.

My baby got his first hair cut when he turned one. We did not brought him to a barber shop or whatsoever. I was the one who cut his hair, and honestly I did a fine job. I kept his hair in a plastic just to have a simple keepsake of his baby hair.
