Siblings
« on: September 07, 2006, 07:59:15 AM »

When I was pregnant for my daughter, a friend of mine had a baby shower for me.  Everyone knew I didn't have a sitter for my son (who was nine), and knew I would be bringing him with me.  A lot of my friends actually brought him a small gift as well so he didn't feel so left out.  I thought this was totaly great.  So now when I go to a shower, I always take a small gift for the other children.

Now that was a very sweet gesture on the part of your friends. I would have never thought about it KDarrell. Now I'll be sure to keep it in mind when I get a shower invite.  Smiley

How I wish to enter a married life.  And have a cute  baby, to celebrate a 'baby shower'.  In other way around, is it significant to a baby's life to have them showered?

I think it's more important for the mom to be than the baby, but it's nice for the when the child gets older to let them know how loved they were and how different people wanted to celebrate their birth.
